“Introduction to My Life”
"Unsigned"
2010

[Intro]
You know it’s funny how, life passes by so quick
And sometimes, you don’t even recognize it
Welcome to my life

I remember growing up on lonely Chantry street
Starting when I was young, way back when I was three
I had a toy car, I pushed it with my feet
Momma told me never stop until my goal’s complete
My life was all good, but then it seemed to shatter
And I was just too young to understand what really mattered
My father’s only son, my momma’s only kid
I always asked God why’d things happen like they did
I never knew why, but then it seemed to hit me
A person has a journey, and mine ain’t seem to fit me
So let me tell you how dear God was always with me
One day I could have died but I guess he didn’t pick me
I guess one day I was out eating ice cream cones
I was with my dad, right in front of home
There parked the ice cream truck and I was so prone
I had no conscience then, I walked out on my own
I walked to the other lane and a car passed by
I guess they didn’t see me, I thought this was goodbye
They knocked me stone cold, that day I could have died
Every day since then I thank God I’m still alive

[CHORUS] (Repeat 2x)
Now let me introduce you to my life
I gotta’ story you can see through my eyes
Where I wanna’ go is where the wind blows
I can’t sit back and watch life pass by

I thank God that I didn’t die
My folks cried many tears when I could not reply
I was their only son, and they stood by my side
They kept their head up while I couldn’t even try
A few years passed after we had a close call
My pops had won the lotto shortly after I recall
We then moved out to a city that was small
But who would have known it was a city I’d enthrall?

[CHORUS] (Repeat 2x)
Now let me introduce you to my life
I gotta’ story you can see through my eyes
Where I wanna’ go is where the wind blows
I can’t sit back and watch life pass by

The place I then called home was called O-town
It’s short for Ocoee, that’s where I met my boys
Jay and D-Flo until now they still come around
That’s what I call a friend, we made it with no end
Often times I pray my friends don’t choose to condescend
I hoped for the best for all my peers and I
And life has passed by but true facts can’t be denied
Over the years I’ve learned much
Ive made many mistakes and always wound up in a clutch
But that could never stop cause by God I’ve been touched
And I always played it calm, there was no need to rush
I spent my next years growing up and things changed
It wasn’t all a pleasure, I felt a deal of pain
That’s when I turned to music, I thought it could retain
I guess over time for myself I’ve made a name
And that’s one of the best choices that I’ve made

[CHORUS] (Repeat 2x)
Now let me introduce you to my life
I gotta’ story you can see through my eyes
Where I wanna’ go is where the wind blows
I can’t sit back and watch life pass by
